Curatorial Statement
《盛花》不僅是花卉的容器，更寓意着盛開的花朵，燦爛綻放，洋溢着生命的活力。
展覽以「盛花」為題，展現四位才華橫溢的陶藝家。他們的作品承載着個人成長與靈智，展現獨特的視角、創意與多元實踐。我希望觀者能如同置身仲夏，感受花園中百花盛開的美好陽光，充滿喜悅。
"Bloom" serves as a multifaceted title for this exhibition, encapsulating the essence of flourishing creativity and vibrant expression. This symbolizes not just the vessels that carry flowers and plants but also the splendid sight of blossoms in full bloom, radiating vitality and exuberance.
In this context, "Bloom" reflects the artistic journeys of our four talented ceramic artists. Each artist embodies the spirit of growth and creativity, showcasing their unique perspectives and diverse practices. The exhibition invites viewers to witness this flourishing phase, where creativity bursts forth like a garden in full bloom, reminiscent of the beauty of mid-summer.

洪鳴謙
Hung Ming Him
自2017年起加入藝想，洪鳴謙的創作 一絲不苟，能掌握較高難度的陶藝技巧。 他不但精於以陶土雕塑造型，也擅長處理結構與細節；同時喜愛描畫彩繪，豐富陶器表面的釉色，盡顯他的熟練手藝及創意思維。
Hung Ming Him, a member of St. James' Creation since 2017, is a distinguished painter and ceramist. His intricate pieces showcase a profound attention to details, employing techniques from hand-building, coiling, sculpting, to glazing. Each work not only demonstrates his expertise but also invites viewers to explore the complexities of form and texture, embodying a dialogue between craftsmanship and creative vision.

Hui Gordon Ka Ho
2011年開始學習陶藝，許家豪個性率直， 喜歡透過陶藝創作，與人分享他的豐富遊歷與生活經驗。家豪的泥塑擁有寛廣的氣度，擅長以作品的紋理、線條和輪廓去說故事。
Since 2011, Hui Gordon Ka Ho has been dedicated to the art of ceramics, embracing a genuine and straightforward approach. His passion lies in creating organic sculptures in clay that capture stories of the everyday experiences and his travel adventures. Through precise lines, intricate patterns, and textured surfaces, his works are invariably imbued with a sense of calm and serenity.

劉海樂
Lau Hoi Lok
自2011年開始學習陶藝，劉海樂著重步驟，講求原則，喜愛將工具、陶泥井然有序地在枱上排列，是工作室的整潔大使。花與顏色元素，每每成為海樂的創作主體。在規律與想像 之間，創造了獨特的藝術演繹手法。
Since 2011, process and routine have been fundamental to Lau Hoi Lok’s ceramic practice. He maintains an organized and tidy workspace, ensuring that every material, from clay to tools, has its designated spot. His works are characterized by floral motifs and vibrant colors, which serve as a cornerstone of his artistic expression, bridging disciplines and sparking imagination.

黃震邦
Wong Chun Pong
2006年開始習陶，黃震邦擅長展現渾圓形態、 敦厚塑型。他熱愛陶泥的多變，享受搓泥做陶、手捏創作；沉浸於自己步調中，不斷探索陶土的可塑性。
Wong Chun Pong began his ceramics journey since 2006 and is known for the roundness, compactness, and robust presence. Wong is so drawn to working with various kinds of clay while exploring its properties. Align with his artistic passions, he particularly enjoys the wedging or hand-building process at his own pace.
