Seeds of Hope
We cling to goats’ beards; we follow ants heading for home; we hop into squirrels’ mouths. Thus begin our adventurous journeys to ride on the winds and flow with the waves.
We look different, dressed in steely armor, soft down coat, or gossamer gown. Our bodies may be in folds, may be long and thin, plainly flat, or just beyond imagination.
Carrying our own codes of life, we propagate, grow to our prime and wither, in endless cycles as nature dictates. We are small, it’s true. Yet we bring harvests laden with abundant fruit.
We each have our own diversity. We coexist in harmony, keeping watch for and respecting each other.
The Potters (Si Fu Chai) of St. James’ Creation have gotten to know the looks and the meaning of seeds through close observation of lemons on trees and images under the microscope. No longer are the seeds in deep sleep. Their codes are broken. Let’s cheer for life.
