陳惠蓮 Denise CHEN

陳惠蓮是現居於台灣的混合媒介藝術家。她的作品深受她的原住民身份(排灣族)和居住的環境所影響。她亦為有關原住民藝術家及工藝的展覽上，擔當策展人及文化推廣者的角色。

現時她正以編織手法創作與大自然元素有關的創作，包括花、葉、蟲等。創作的概念受到排灣族傳統服飾上的鈕扣所啟發。

Denise CHEN is a mixed-media artist based in Taiwan. Her artworks are influenced by her ethnic identity of the Paiwan as well as the natural environment she is living in. She is also a curator and culture promoter through curating and organizing art exhibitions of ethnic artists and handicrafts.

Currently, she is producing artworks with color yarn to create the rich vegetation in her surroundings such as flowers, leaves, insects etc. The idea is inspired by the buttons used in traditional Paiwan clothing.
